At the beginning of the year they joined us through @newcastleuni ‘s politics work placement module because they had an interest with researching issues surrounding gender inequality and young people 

 

After some very strongly emotive and passionate conversations the ladies decided to target their research on the issue of drugging in the night time economy 

 

Since then they have carried out a literature review, decided on their research methods, carried out their research methods, analysed their data and then wrote their final reports 

 

In order for their vital research to be part of the change they want to see in society – we held a seminar where a variety of professionals were invited along who work with young people 

 

A huge, huge thank you to those who did attend last night and supported not only these three wonderful young people but have also pledged to do their part in tackling this issue for all young people
