Are you a budding creative in the making? Looking to land your first role in digital media, film, music or TV?
Ladders is a programme run by music development agency Generator which helps young people aged 16-24, who have an interest in the creative industries, to develop their skills and improve their chances of finding a job.
Through regular one-to-one advice clinics young people can discuss their ideas and ambitions, develop career action plans and identify career opportunities.
As well as clinics, the enjoyable, creative and interactive delivery of Ladders workshops address five key skills areas identified by employers which are perceived to be missing in young people (communication, team work, time management, professionalism and commitment) ensuring that attendees come away with the vital soft skills for the workplace. The employability element of the programme is delivered by staff from Youth Focus: North East.
