Headstart Project Wellbeing Challenge Event

On Saturday 17 September, Youth Focus: North East was involved in a Wellbeing Challenge event in Albert Park, Middlesbrough.

The event was managed and planned by young people alongside Youth Focus: North East and Safe in Tees Valley as part of the Middlesbrough Council HeadStart project funded by Big Lottery Fund, and was part of the HeadStart Wellbeing Challenge Event. On the day young people from the HeadStart Youth Board and Cleveland Police Cadets managed the stalls and engaged with the community.

The event featured the fire brigade with a fire engine, police with a Police Van, Middlesbrough Football Club Foundation with their Health Bus and Sport Coaches delivering sport such as football, rugby, and shotput. The young people had a tuck shop and arts and crafts for community members to enjoy. 70 people come to the event.
