Could you be our next Young Trainer?

“Are you aged 16-25 and looking for an exciting new
opportunity?”

We are looking for young people interested in working alongside our Youth Focus: North East staff to deliver our training programmes to other young people and/or professionals in the Tees Valley Area. On Tuesday 25 October, there is an opportunity to find out more about our organisation and the world of youth work, as well as the chance to devise and develop new projects.

  • You will undertake two days of training that will equip you with the fundamental skills and knowledge to successfully deliver Youth Focus: North East training programmes.
  • There will be a rolling programme of learning and delivery to develop your skills.
  • It is a great addition to your CV, will develop your knowledge and confidence and may lead to future paid sessional work.
  • This will be delivered throughout the year, so you can get involved based on your availability.

If you have any particular questions or would just like to find out a bit more about Young Trainers then please contact Laura Bush or Helen Kennedy, alternatively you can ring the office on 0191 477 9966.

Youth Focus: North East is an independent charity that works across the North East to improve the lives of young people. We have a range of programmes, including pre-employability courses, mental health and emotional wellbeing projects, intergenerational work, arts and culture, politics and positive action.

If you’re interested, please complete our short form and email it to Iona Jeffries-Jackson.
