Last weekend, Youth Focus: North East, alongside the young people who attend the Positively Pally sessions, were in Pallister Park to take part in a park clean up.
The group of young people have become increasingly frustrated at the way the park looks and feels, and decided they would like to take action.
Supported by local businesses, residents and Community Support Officers, young people spent Sunday morning filling black bags, removing broken bikes, and sweeping paths.
Positively Pally is part of Our Community Matters, a Youth Investment Fund programme supported by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sports (DCMS) and the National Lottery Community Fund.
Thank you to all who attended and supported. Well done to the young people for their hard work, and for the great idea to do this event!
