Our newest cohort of Reducing the Skills Gap started on Tuesday 29 November in Tees Valley. This cohort is being delivered to young people aged 16 to 25 who are NEET in the Tees Valley area, and need additional support in their next steps. This cohort is funded by the European Social Fund.
Reducing the Skills Gap (RTSG) is a soft skills personal development training programme designed to improve skills and attitudes for employment. RTSG addresses six key skills: communication, commitment, professionalism, time management, teamwork, and confidence.
Learners will participate in fun and creative activities which were created by young people. Throughout the training programme, we also ask participants to complete impact assessments to log their personal development.
