Youth Employment UK unveil annual report

On Tuesday 9 June, Youth Employment UK (YEUK) held a celebration event at the Recruitment and Employment Confederation office in London to launch both their new website and inaugural annual report. Our Regional Development Officer, Neil Burke, attended as part of the YEUK National Advisory Board.

Youth unemployment has been a major issue in the UK for a long time and although the figures are coming down they are still too high. YEUK has been working tirelessly since 2012 to tackle youth unemployment and to give a voice to young people who are on the frontline. The annual report reflects on the journey YEUK has had and on their future goals and the celebration event on 9 June was a big thank you to all of those involved in the work.

Youth Employment UK are also calling on organisations throughout the UK to sign up to the Youth Friendly Charter. If you are young person or know any young people who may be interested in becoming a Youth Employment UK Ambassador please contact Neil Burke more information.
