Youth Focus North East are the regional lead for the Members of Youth Parliament (MYP) working with Participation Workers across the different local authorities to support the MYP in their role.
The MYP represent their area and the community to ensure their voices are heard when speaking with decision makers.
So far the MYP have attended a number of regional events and a national conference with the National Youth Agency (NYA).
In February 2025, the MYP will be travelling to London to debate in the House of Commons.
